Built 1998. 109,000GRT. Length 290 metres. Passengers 2,600. Crew 1,100. She is the largest vessel ever to enter the Port of Dover. The day she visited was the busiest day ever for cruise passengers handled by the Port of Dover as both the "Saga Rose" and "Norwegian Dream" were also in port for turnrounds and over 7,000 passengers passed through the two cruise terminals.
18 JUN 2008: Have added a photo taken when Grand Princess made an unscheduled call today due to industrial relations problems in Le Havre. 10 JUL 2008: Carnival Splendor at 113,000 gross tons took the title of largest cruise ship to visit Dover. |
