| Another brilliant annual Hellfire Corner weekend in Pencester Gardens in the centre of Dover. First photo shows Barry Williams, the organiser, with my partner Chris. The RAF living history re-enactors simulated an attack by German aircraft followed by one being shot down and the pilot brought in for interrogation, have added a wartime photo of a pilot shot down near Dover. The young lady singing is Kas. The two ladies singing in RAF uniform are the Swingtime Sweethearts. The dance troupe are the Lindy Hoppers. The brass band are the Betteshanger Colliery Band. All were absolutely outstanding. Supported by numerous military and civilian re-enactors walking around, and Terry Nunn doing his usual superlative job on the sound equipment. Great weekend. |
